Obituary of Cheuk Kin Lee
Cheuk Kin Lee, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2024 at the age of 77.
Cheuk Kin was born on December 18, 1946, to the late Jin Han Li and Yue Fang Liu in Taishan, Guangdong, China. The oldest of four children, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Boston in the 70’s. He began working as a cook in the restaurant industry.
Cheuk Kin is a family man, always tried to put his children first. What little free time he had juggling work and family, he would try to entertain his neighbors and friends through drinks and games of mahjong. He also enjoyed his weekly visits to Chinatown, whether it be for dim sum with friends and family or shopping at his favorite markets.
During his retired years, Cheuk Kin enjoyed the simple things in life, including walks and keeping up with current events. He found comfort watching old movies and listening to classic Chinese music, while enjoying a cup of tea.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lee, of 45 years; his son and daughter-in-law, Simon Lee & Eda Lam, his 2 daughters, Karen Lee and Diana Lee; his 2 granddaughters, Isabella Lee and Miranda Lee. Cheuk Kin will be greatly missed by his siblings.
