So many years of friendship…..a lifetime of memories…..time spent exploring paris, amsterdam, san francisco, yosemite, boston, the cape…..countless meals shared…..numerous conversations and chitchat....you are so kind hearted and the ultimate peoples person,….barry was always so sweet with tammy’s mom….mom would say that she saw barry in front of ho toy noodle and barry made her take home a ginormous bag of noodles and that didn’t happen just once…. you were one of a kind, barry…thank you for letting us into your life….we love you....you're unforgettable....eimerd and tammy...

Q: How did you meet Barry?
A: I met Barry after Evelyn started dating him. I considered her my best friend at the time and missed her when she moved to Boston but we kept in touch over the years. What I like to remember about Barry was his wicked sense of humor which made for great fun and memories whenever my husband and I visited from New York. He was always generous and hospitable and we appreciated that very much. I'll always remember him with love. I'm confident that he's in a peaceful place now.

Ever the diplomat, Barry referred to Evelyn, his beloved wife, as his “trophy wife” on her 60th birthday implying that she was as beautiful and youthful as ever.

Barry was very generous. He took us to dim sum in a beautiful restaurant in Chinatown. He would not allow us to pay for a thing. We are Evelyn’s friends from yoga classes and he treated us, especially, nice.
