My deepest sympathies and prayers to Jeffrey’s beautiful family.
Over 50 years ago I was fortunate to have met Jeffery. He took me under his wing and treated me like his own daughter. His compassion, kindness and generosity can never be surpassed. While at Ho Toy Noodle, I was able to witness his relentless hard work as I stood side-by-side him day by day bagging noodles, making fortune cookies, cracking eggs, making deliveries, etc., etc.
The many memories I have of Jeffrey will not be forgotten and he will be truly missed.
I am praying that God will heal your broken hearts and bring you peace throughout this sad and sorrowful time.

Uncle Jeffrey, you will be greatly missed. You were so wonderful to our whole family. Your kindness, generosity, strength, hard work, and resilience will never be forgotten. Without you, my family and my life will be so different. My dad had worked at Ho Toy Noodle for over 20+ years. I have fond memories of visiting my dad's workplace and seeing you and Uncle Barry in the office. You were always so cheerful.
Thank you for inviting our whole family to the Wong Family Benevolent Association Banquet for many years. During this event, we saw other relatives we don't see daily and spent time reminiscing about our day-to-day life. It was like a family reunion at these events every year since I was a little girl. Uncle Jeffrey, you have made such a significant impact in our lives, and we will always miss you, love you, and think of you.
Our deepest condolences to Uncle Jeffrey's family during this time. Wishing you all strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Luther and I were so blessed to have Uncle Jeffrey and Aunt Susan attend our wedding this summer - they won the contest for the longest marriage out of all the couples! They also flew down to Houston to visit my family for our second wedding (don't worry, second wedding but same husband). When my parents met Uncle Jeffrey during a rare trip to Boston in 2021, they were immediately invited to enjoy dim sum at Joyful Garden. Despite having a table for only four people, they ordered enough food to feed four families! My parents quickly learned that no one goes hungry when the Wongs are around.
So when it came time for Uncle Jeffrey and Aunt Susan to visit Houston last November, my parents were eager to return the favor and show off all the mouthwatering Asian food that Houston has to offer. The Nguyen family is grateful to have Uncle Jeffrey's cheery presence at the wedding last November. Our condolences to all those who knew and loved Uncle Jeffrey.

I started golfing with Jeffrey later on in his life. Gin, Chief (Paul Soo Hoo) and myself. We had a lot of laughs (including the time Chief fell into the pond at Butternut!) Jeffrey was always so fun and generous! His "ew keks" would resonate all over the course when he missed a putt ! Jeffrey will still be making those long 20 footers upstairs! RIP my friend !

I think of Jeffrey as a thoughtful, generous man. From the time he immigrated as a teen I remember he was affable and able to bridge any chasm that often exists between kids born here and those who immigrate. He was a supportive friend to my late husband, Reggie, and among the first members of the Knights which Reggie appreciated.
Besides being a good businessman, he along with Susan raised four terrific children. I was a teacher at the Devotion School where they attended and the teachers thought of Melissa, Michael, Andrew and Steve as wonderful individuals and students.
The last time I saw Jeffrey was last summer at the Busy Bee in Brookline. In his generous way he treated me and the people I was with to lunch.
Jeffrey will be remembered for working hard, taking care of family and giving a helping hand.
My deepest sympathy to Susan and Melissa, Michael, Andrew and Steve and their families.

Once upon a time, anyone who finished a Chinatown Restaurant meal would get a fortune cookie with the dessert; The diner would eat the outside while anticipating what was inside. And that cookie likely came from Jeffrey Wong.
Jeffrey's business, Ho Toy Noodle Company, probably supplied most of the fortune cookies and noodles in a Metropolitan Boston where Chinatown was really "Chinatown." The area is more diversified now.
Eventually Jeffrey and his wife Susan retired from dough making to daycare (of the grandchildren.)
Our condolences to Jeffrey's family: the cookie may have crumbled but the memory of what was inside remains.
