Phat (Hung) Ngu (1957 - 2022)
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Phat Ngu. Phat passed away on August 8, 2022 at Mount Auburn Hospital with his family by his side. He was 65 years old. Phat is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Khanh, and two cherished daughters, Phuong and Amy. His close-knit extended family includes his siblings:Le, Nhung, Hung, Huong, Dung, Linh, Van, Tuyet, Phong, and Lan; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Anh Ngu and Huong Thi Tran, and brothers, Cuong and Thu.
Phat loved to spend time with his family especially during Sunday dinners with his siblings. Every night, he and Khanh would cherish special conversations until they fell asleep. He enjoyed football, taking on new tasks, and a tasty cup of coffee. Most importantly, he excelled at being a dad as he was his daughters’ rock. He loved to laugh with Amy and was an inspiration to Phuong as he told her to keep learning the world until she no longer could.
Services will be held at Wing Fook Funeral Home, 13 Gerard Street in Boston. Family and friends are welcome to visit during visiting hours on Friday, August 12, from 5pm - 8pm and to join funeral services on Saturday, August 13, from 9:30-11am. Possession to the crematory will be private. The family respectfully requests no monetary donations.
