We affectionately refer to her as "Mama Mui" in my household. I am extremely grateful for her in getting to know me, my husband and parents. She was genuine, generous and reached out to my parents, quickly becoming friends. I appreciated her taking them around when they were in town visiting and making sure they had a great time. They shared food, recipes and loved to explore San Diego together. I remember her coming by to pick up my parents, like how teenagers would go off and hang out with friends. It always made me smile. And their cute selfies together when they went out to eat! We will miss seeing her dearly. One thing we will cherish is her homemade hot sauce! We affectionately labeled it "mama mui's nuclear option". It is so, so good. Thank you for always sharing and think of us. We are thinking of you and know you are being just as generous with others where you are now.
