Xianzhe Lin
1936-2021
Xianzhe Lin, 85, of Boston, MA passed away peacefully at sunset on July 20th, 2021, with family gathered around him. Mr. Lin is survived by his beloved wife, Jinglan Zhang of Boston and son, Yong Lin with his wife Sharon Zhang and grandson William Lin, granddaughter Katherine Lin of Belmont, MA, and daughter Pei Lin with her husband Milton Cornwall-Brady, grandchildren Hugh and Aileen Cornwall-Brady of Swampscott, MA.
Mr. Lin was a professor and scientist, enjoyed innovation and exploration. He was very knowledgeable, an excellent example of live and learn. During his working years, he had won many awards for his research work. In his retirement years, he learned English, acupuncture, and advanced mathematics. Mr. Lin enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, he was a very caring husband, father, and grandfather. He was a problem solver and always tried his best to help other people, especially families. He was very generous and had devoted his life taking care of his lovely wife. He enjoyed life and had a wonderful one. He will be missed deeply by his families and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Wing Fook Funeral Home at 13 Gerard St., Boston, MA 02119, on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
